Description

The project aims to adopt Afforestation, Reforestation and Revegetation activities in Oromia and Sidama regions that cover tropical mountain ecosystems of Ethiopia. The project activity includes plantation of native tree species that includes: Podocarpus Falcatus, Erythrina Brucei5 (endemic to Ethiopia), Acacia Albida, Hagenia Abyssinica, Morus Alba and Millettia Ferruginea. and highland bamboo Yushania Alpina. The project will implement sustainable management practices in the project area to ensure the proper growth and maintenance of tree species.
